Overview of Work Units

The general description of the ISBI Tanah Papua work unit is contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 12 of 2025 concerning Organization and Work Procedures   Indonesian Institute of Arts and Culture Tanah Papua

Senate is a policy constituent element that carries out the function of determining and considering the implementation of academic policies.

Rector is the leader of ISBI Tanah Papua. has the task of leading the implementation of education, research and community service as well as developing lecturers, educational staff, students and the relationship between the academic community and the environment.

Representative   Rector   Field   Academics, Student Affairs, and  Cooperation has the task of assisting the Chancellor in leading the implementation of activities in the fields of education, research, community service, student affairs, alumni, information systems and cooperation.

Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Finance and General Affairs has the task of assisting the Chancellor in leading the implementation of activities in the fields of planning, finance, public relations and general affairs.

Major has the task of organizing and managing academic education, vocational education, and/or professional education in 1 (one) or several branches of science and/or technology as well as managing the supporting resources of the Study Program.

The majors consist of:

a. Performing Arts Department;

b. Department of Fine Arts and Design; And

c. Department of Culture.

BAcademic, Student Affairs and Work Sections has the task of carrying out services in the academic, student affairs, cooperation and alumni fields. 

Planning, Finance and General Section has the task of carrying out planning, financial and general affairs.

Institute for Research and Community Service has the task of coordinating, implementing, monitoring and evaluating research and community service activities.

Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institute has the task of coordinating, implementing, monitoring and evaluating quality assurance and learning development activities.

Academic support unit is an academic support element within the ISBI Tanah Papua environment.

Academic support units consist of:

a. Library: is an academic support unit in the library sector.

b. QInformation and Communication Technology: has the task of carrying out the development, management and provision of information and communication technology services as well as managing information systems and networks.

c. Art Events and Documentation Events : has the task of organizing artistic and cultural performances and exhibitions as well as documenting and managing collections of artistic and cultural works.

The Internal Supervisory Unit is a supervisory element that carries out non-academic supervisory functions for and on behalf of the Chancellor. 

The Advisory Council is the implementing organ  the function of providing non-academic considerations and other functions stipulated in the ISBI Tanah Papua statute.
